An English 18 carat gold open faced key wind pocket watch made by W.W. Kent in Manchester, Chester Hallmarked for 1866. The gilt full plate movement with an English lever escapement, plain three arm balance and diamond end stone. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and gilt spade hands. The engine turned case with a vacant cartouche on the reverse. Movement signed and numbered. Comes with a 9 carat gold watch chain and the original winding key.
