An Englisch 18 carat gold open faced key wind pocket watch retailed by Sir John Bennett Ltd. in London, London Hallmarked for 1873. The movement with an English lever escapement. Gilt, engine turned dial with a foliate engraved center, Roman hours, outer dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued spade hands. An engine turned case with plain bezels, pendant and bow, the back with a central, decoratively engraved vacant cartouche. Case and movement with matching numbers. Comes with a fitted presentation box from Sir John Bennett Ltd. and the original key.
