An English 18 carat gold half hunting cased keyless pocket watch made by Barraud & Lund in London, London Hallmarked for 1878. The gilt ¾ plate English lever movement with a cut and compensated bimetallic balance. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 9 o’clock and gilt double spade hands. The polished hinged case with a blue Roman numeral chapter on the front, a presentation inscription on the cuvette and a monogram on the back. Dial and movement signed, case numbered and stamped A.N., dial and movement with matching numbers. Comes with the fitted presentation box and a winding key.
