A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold manual wind concealed watch set into a U.S. 20 dollar coin made by L.-U. Chopard & Cie S.A. in Geneva, circa 1970. The manual wind movement with a lever escapement, 17 jewels and adjusted to three positions. Silvered dial with black baton hour markers and black steel hands. A brushed case with a snap on back, hinged within an 1896 United States of America 20 dollar coin featuring Lady of Liberty on the front and the bald eagle on the reverse, revealed by pressing the push piece in the milled band at 3 o’clock. Dial and movement signed, case signed and numbered.
