An English key wind pocket watch movement in a later silver case made by John Ellicott in London, the movement was made around 1750 and the case is hallmarked for London 1835. The gilt full plate movement with a fusee verge escapement, pierced and engraved balance cock, three arm balance, silvered regulation, diamond end stone and an inner cap. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track and heavy gilt spade hands. An open faced, polished case. Movement signed and numbered, case stamped GH.
