A Swiss 18 carat gold open faced key wind pocket watch made by Breguet, circa 1872. Sold December 29th, 1872, to Mr Honoré for 600 Francs. The gilt Swiss lever movement with a cut and compensated bimetallic balance. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute divisions track, outermost five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and gilt hands. The polished case is monogrammed on the back. Dial and case signed and numbered, case and cuvette numbered, cuvette and case with matching numbers. Comes with a fitted presentation box.
