An English 18 carat gold open faced key wind center seconds pocket watch, Chester Hallmarked for 1870. The gilt 3/4 plate movement with an English lever escapement, and cut and compensated bimetallic balance. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track with fifth of a second divisions, outermost five minute numerals, a sunk center, blued steel spade hands and a center seconds hand. A polished hinged case with a decoratively engraved vacant cartouche on the back. Movement numbered.
