A Danish 18 carat gold open faced half quarter-hour repeating pocket watch, circa 1825. Extremely rare precision movement with fine lever escapement, repeating hours, quarter hours and half quarter hours. Unusual white enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic quarters, floral engine turning to the centre, engine-turned subsidiary seconds dial and blued Breguet hands. Engine-turned à goutte case, reeded midsection. Dial signed, cuvette signed and numbered.
