English 18k gold lever watch with power reserve Circa 1874

An English gold key wind pocket watch by Charles Frodsham, 84 Strand, London, London hallmark for 1874. Gilt 3/4 plate English lever movement, cut and compensated bimetallic balance. White enamel dial, black Roman numerals, black outer minute track, subsidiary dials at 6 and 12 for seconds and up/down indication, blued steel spade hands. 18 Carat polished full hunter consular case, personal engraving to cuvette. Dial and movement signed, case stamped ‘GAP’.
