Very rare and attractive watch with pivoted detent escapement and Renaissance punch case, Mugnier & Cie, circa 1870.
An 18 carat gold, ” à goutte” hunting case, both sides  engraved Renaissancemotive, all three case covers of gold, dome inscribed “CHRONOMETRE”, signed and numbered 92397.
Very fine Chronometer movement with pivoted detent escapement and screwed golden chatons, perfectly preserved enamel dial, blued steel hands, very fine collector’s quality.
Very beautiful condition of preservation.
