Extremely rare and high quality English pocket chronometer, Earnshaw type, James Dallas London, circa 1814. An 18 Carat pink gold, extraordinary case quality, important case maker; Louis Comtesse, pocket chronometer of excellent quality and very rare function, 1/8-Repeater, splendid engraved. Grotesque face, signed and numbered plate, silver dial with sign and number, pink golden hands, in very good condition, important English collector’s watch.
Pocket chronometer with 1/8-h- Repeater is extremely rare.
The watch is a significant collector’s watch, not only because of its originality and the rare technical feature but also due to the case.
