An English 18 carat gold minute repeating Grande Complication chronograph with perpetual calendar and moon phase, London hallmark 1890. English precision lever escapement with balance weight and 8 bolted chatons, 4/5 plate movement, presumably a Nicole Nielsen caliber for the English market, minute repeating with two hammers on two gongs, English lever escapement with balance weight. White enamel dial with blued steel pear hands. Heavy, plain case, maker’s mark ‘WH’ (Louis Weill & Henry Harburg, Holborn Circus, London/La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland). Comes with the original box. Movement signed and numbered, dial signed.
