An unusual English verge in silver pair cases circa 1800. Full plate fire gilt movement with unusual arched bridge cock, pierced and engraved plate for the silver regulator disc. Plain three-arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Convex white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, Roman numerals at the quarters, gilt hands. Silver pair cases, silver rectangular pendant and bow, maker’s mark IR. An unusual outer case which hinges at six o’clock, the button and spring by one o’clock.
