An English verge in 20 Carat gold repousse pair cases, circa 1755. Full plate fire gilt movement, square baluster pillars. Pierced and engraved cock with endstone. Silver regulator disc. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Plain three arm gilt balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. White enamel dial with black Roman numerals, fine gilt decorative hands. Plain 20 Carat inner case, gold pendant and bow. Fine 20 carat gold repousse outer the chased and engraved scene depicting a classically dressed person.
