An extremely rare French 18 carat gold and enamel miniature pendant watch in Renaissance style, circa 1800. Signed verge movement. White enamel dial with Roman hours, outer minute divisions, a polychrome enamel mythological scene in the centre and Roman numerals, original hands. A completely enamelled, very elaborately painted case with a lavish figure scene to the back, the band with various cartouches, swans and portraits in between, on the inside another painting with lovers and putti. Comes with the original box.
