A very rare English 18 carat gold blind man’s hunting cased pocket watch, Hallmarked 1840. Extravagant English movement with very large balance (diameter 22 mm), diamond endstone, splendidly engraved bridge, chain and fusee. Unique enamel dial with Roman numerals and gold ball tips to feel the time for the blind, gilt hands. Engine turned case, reeded mid section. Movement signed and numbered.
