An elegant and super thin Swiss silver niëllo hunting cased Art Nouveau lever pocket watch with matching chain and pen, circa 1900. Retailed by Hamilton in Calcutta, India. Ultra fine, thin precision movement with a lever escapement. The cuvette is inscribed with prize medals and Grand Prix Paris 1900. Silvered engine turned dial with Arabic hours and outer minute dots, subsidiary seconds, filigree steel Breguet hands. A niëllo case with rose gold hinges and vine leaf decoration. Dial and cuvette signed, case and movement numbered. Comes with a corresponding niëllo silver watch chain and pencil case in the original presentation box.
