A very fine Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced Louis XV Lépine ankerchronometer pocket watch with calendar, circa 1870. Fine ankerchronometer movement, 20 jewels, wolf’s toothing. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic five minutes, day and date, subsidiary seconds and rose gold hands. Engine-turned Louis XV case with extra-large lateral hinge, cartouche with monogram on the back. Cuvette signed.
