Signed: Henry Voisin à Paris
–
In 1760 Henry Voisin took over the business of his father, the watchmaker Charles Voisin (1685-1761). His real name was Antoine-Henry Voisin. However, he signed his movements only with his second first name “Henry Voisin”.
–
The case and dial of this watch are very typical of the work of Henry Voisin. There are several watches known, which were signed by him and which have both the enamelled pearl rim and the very special enamel dial.
