A very fine, technically and historically highly interesting Swiss 18 carat gold seconde morte lever Lépine pocket watch with rare winding mechanism made for Jules Huguenin, circa 1873. Lever escapement, special winding mechanism with four winding wheels and tandem winding, independent jumping seconds. White enamel dial with black Roman hours and red five minutes, subsidiary seconds, exceptional hands. Case engine-turned, monogram JH for Jules Huguenin on the back. Case numbered, cuvette signed.
