A Swiss 18 carat rose gold hunting cased lever pocket watch, circa 1870. Ankerchronometer movement with extra large balance, escapement with moustache lever. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, blued steel hands. Case to the front engraved with noble Coat-of-Arms and inscribed A Dieu Au Roi a la Patrie – Zu Gott, Zum König, Zum Vaterland (to God, to the King, for the Fatherland), monogram to the back. Cuvette signed: A.H. Rodanet constructeur de chronometres 38 Rue Vivienne Paris montre de Patek, Philippe & Co Geneve. Case and movement numbered. Comes with, probably, original box by Rodanet.
