A very rare Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel open faced Art Nouveau Lépine pocket watch, Africa, circa 1910. High-quality Swiss lever movement. Silvered dial with Arabic hours and outer minute divisions, engine-turned centre, subsidiary seconds, blued steel hands. The case back with a representation of the African jungle depicting a hunter on horseback facing a lion, multi-coloured enamel. Cuvette signed, additionally inscribed Half-Chronometer. Comes with the original box.
