An extremely rare, large and early English open faced pendant watch with alarm, circa 1685. Very early verge movement with hairspring, two barrels, chain/fusee, barrel of the striking mechanism also pierced, unusual and rare pillars in shape of vases. Golden grained dial, central alarm disc and blued steel hands. Pierced floral case with bell. Movement signed.
