An extremely rare Swiss silver double sided chronograph, the ‘Chrono-Tachymeter Cadran Brevetè S.G.D.G’, circa 1900. Omega precision lever movement with fine adjusting device and chronograph. White enamel 5-colour-multiscale dial, with 15 minutes register and blued steel hands, the back skeletonized, white enamel dial ring with additional chronograph feature. Plain case. Dial and movement signed.

There are very few double sided chronographs with this special dial. The so called ‘Cadran Breveté S.G.D.G tachy dial’ allowed the direct reading of speeds by different coloured minute segments without computing.
