A very fine French 18 carat rose gold, enamel and diamond-set open faced verge pocket watch with corresponding chatelaine, circa 1770. Verge movement. White enamel dial with Arabic hours and outer minute divisions, rose gold hands. Case engraved, the back with polychrome enamel scene, set with diamonds. Silver chatelaine, decorated with four enamel plaques, the stones set in silver matching the watch. Movement signed.
