An English cylinder in a decorative gold open faced case, circa 1816. Full plate gilt key wind fusee movement, engraved cock with garnet end stone, silver regulator disc. Plain three arm polished steel balance and blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, large escape wheel, pivots with end stones. Fine engine turned gold dial, applied gold Arabic numerals on a matted ground, gold serpentine hands. Substantial engine turned 18 Carat open faced case with chased and engraved bezels pendant and bow. Reeded middle, wound through the gold cuvette, maker’s mark LC.
