A fine English 18 carat yellow gold pocket watch with cylinder escapement, circa 1816.
A polished case with a gilt dust cap. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals and outer minute track, a subsidiary for the seconds, yellow gold beetle and poker hands. Hinged gilt brass, full plate movement with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, cylinder escapement with steel escape wheel, plain brass three-arm balance with three screws, flat balance spring, gilt brass cock pierced, diamond endstone. Movement and dust cap signed.
