An extremely rare and early Swiss gold double-sided astronomical pocket watch, circa 1780. Verge escapement. Regulator dial with a central minute hand on the front, decentral hour hand, regulated through the dial, indication of date and days of the week, the back with indication of the month, the day of the month, the moon phase as well as the compass direction. Case glazed on both sides.
