An especially heavy Swiss 18 carat rose gold figure automaton Jacquemart with military figures, circa 1810. Verge movement, repeating the hours and quarter hours. Small central white enamel dial with Arabic hours and outer minute divisions, three-coloured gold figure automaton with extremely rare military figures on dark blue translucent enamel, additionally showing a horse, cannon, drum and flags, filigree blued steel hands. Plain case, reeded band, case maker’s mark HMV. Case numbered.
