A very rare Swiss stainless steel open faced pilot’s watch with 24h dial and power reserve, made for the US Army in the 1940’s. Very fine ankerchronometer movement, 21 jewels, fine adjusting device. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, 24-hour dial with 24-hour power reserve indicator, marked G.C.T., blued steel hands and centre seconds. Plain case. Case numebred, movement signed and numbered, case and movement with matching numbers.
