A very fine and rare, small Swiss eight-day marine chronometer, circa 1924. Glazed ankerchronometer movement, Longines top calibre, fine adjusting device, eight-day power reserve. Silvered dial with Arabic hours and outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, eight-day power reserve indication, blued steel hands. Original mahogany box with brass mountings. Brass case, gimbal suspension, the bottom numbered 160. Dial signed, movement signed and numbered.
