A fine French verge watch in a fine 20 carat gold and enamel case, circa 1780. Keywind verge movement. Pierced and engraved cock with steel polished coqueret silver regulator disc, blue steel indicator. Plain three-arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, gold decorative hands, and steel date hand Fine gold and enamel open faced case. The gold back covered with blue translucent enamel with extravagant enamel on both sides. Gold pendant and bow. Wound through the enamel front. Push pendant to open front.
