A unique Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased lever pocket watch with an iridescent enamel portrait of Napoleon, circa 1910. Nickel-plated ankerchronometer movement. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic five minutes, subsidiary seconds and gold hands. Spring lid with unique enamel medallion with change of colour, depending on the incidence of light from grey to violet, portrait of Napoleon, a very rare enamel technique. Minimal peripheral damage of enamel, small peripheral signs of usage on the case. Dial, case and movement signed, matching numbers on the case and movement.
