Rare English 18 carat gold open faced precision pocket watch with power reserve display, circa 1871. Precision lever movement with particularly large gold balance, chain and fusee, ¾ plate, signed W. Woods Warrlington. Original white enamel dial with Roman numerals, rare up & down display for 30h power reserve, subsidiary seconds and original blued steel hands. The dial with slight craquelure. Engine-turned case, ribbed band, cartouche on the back. Dust cover with extensive dedication. Movement signed and numbered. Comes with presumably the original key and original box.
