A rare and large German silver-gilt pair cased verge pocket watch with date, circa 1672-1714. Verge movement with tulip pillars, the cock decorated with a lady’s portrait. Original, presumably silver-gilt, dial with Roman hours and Arabic five minutes, aperture for the date, signed Mayr Fecit, probably silver hands. Case engraved. Dial signed, movement signed and numbered.
