A very early Swiss 18 Carat gold open faced ankerchronometer pocket watch, circa 1883. Ankerchronometer movement, observatory quality Extra, very large chronometer balance, Wolf’s toothing, gear train made of a special alloy, balanced lever, Geneva striping decoration. White enamel dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, original gold hands. Case engine turned, reeded band, monogrammed on the back.
Dial and movement signed, case and movement with matching numbers, cuvette signed and numbered.
