A very fine Swiss 18 carat pink gold minute repeating keyless pocket watch with split seconds chronograph, circa 1883. Accompanied by a Tiffany & Co., Geneva, period box and the Extract from the Archives. A polished case, back engraved with a scrolled monogram, co axial button in the crown for the start/stop and return to zero chronograph function, curved rectangular pusher on the band for the split seconds function, locking bolt at 11 o’clock and a hinged gold cuvette.

White enamel dial with painted radial Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, outermost chronograph track divided into fifths, red Arabic five minute/seconds numerals, subsidiary seconds and blued steel spade hands. Three quarter plate, nickel plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 29 jewels, straight line calibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs activated by a slide in the band. Dial signed Tiffany & Co., case PP.Co. and numbered, movement Patek Philippe & Co., Geneva and Tiffany & Co., New York.
