A Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced ankerchronometer pocket watch, circa 1901. Sold to chronometer maker Rodanet in Paris 1901. Patek Philippe precision lever movement of chronometer quality Extra, fine adjusting device, wolf’s toothing, bridge inscribed Extra, Pat.1891, lever escapement, Geneva striping decoration. Cuvette with finely engraved monogram ET, dated June 1901, also with Patek Philippe punch and number. White enamel dial with Arabic hours and outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, rose gold hands. Plain case, signed Patek Philippe and Rodanet Paris. Dial signed, cuvette and case signed and numbered, movement numbered.
