An important French silver open faced grande sonnerie quarter repeating coach clock with alarm, circa 1800. Very complicated verge movement, self striking quarters, repeating the hours and quarter hours. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic five minutes, original hands, minimal hairlines and peripheral restoration. Case pierced and engraved, sound openings, bell. Dial signed. Comes with the, probably, original key.
