Humbert Droz
Daniel Humbert-Droz was born in Paris and, according to the Bulletin de la Societe de l’Histoire du Protestantisme Francais, was the son of a marble worker from the Neuchâtel region. Daniel Humbert-Droz was active in the Rue Montorgueil and was mentioned to have died there on February 22nd, 1786 and on March 1st his will was published. The watch shown is possibly not from Daniel, the father, himself but from his son, hence the signature D’s. Humbert-Droz.

Signed: D’s Humbert-Droz
