A large Swiss silver open faced lever marksman’s watch made for the Federal Shooting Festival Frauenfeld 1890. Early IWC precision lever movement, still without fine adjusting device, screwed chatons, and early IWC punch. Cuvette engraved with floral tendrils, additionally inscribed Eidgenössisches Schützenfest Frauenfeld 1890. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic five minutes, subsidiary seconds, rose gold hands. The case back with relief, rose gold hinges, and an early version of the IWC punch. Dial signed, case and movement numbered.
