A Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating chronograph lever pocket watch with perpetual calendar, carillon, ages and phases of the moon, circa 1880. Lever movement, keyless winding, highly jewelled, three hammers striking on coiled gongs. White enamel dial with Roman hours, Arabic minutes and leap year indication, subsidiary dials for the months, days of the week and date, constant seconds combined with the phases of the moon. Plain case, the back monogrammed MFD, chronograph pusher on the top of the case at 12, the repeating slide at 6. Case and movement numbered.
