An extremely rare Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced virgule pocket watch, circa 1815. Early full plate oscillating weight winding movement, virgule escapement, three-arm brass balance. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic five-minute numerals. The front bezel engine-turned, plain pendant and bow. Dial and movement signed, case numbered.
