An American 10 carat gold open faced railroader’s watch engraved with a locomotive, circa 1928. 21 Jewel damascened model 1908 16 size movement with gold chatons and centre wheel, adjusted to 6 positions, bimetallic balance with overcoiled spring and 1908 patent micrometre regulator, lever set.
Double sunken white enamel dial, 60-minute numerals enclosing bold Arabic chapters, blued hands, subsidiary seconds within a screw back case engraved with an approaching locomotive, case, dial and movement signed Waltham.
