Gold extremely heavy full hunter watch

An extremely heavy, ornately designed hunting cased pocket watch with a solid 14K chain of varying thickness measuring circa 20 cm long made by the American Waltham Watch Company in Waltham, Massachusetts, U.S.A., circa 1889. The numbered case of this watch was crafted in four colour gold and features a high relief depicting a flower vase and butterfly on the spring lid, as well as a central vacant cartouche on the reverse. The white enamel dial has Roan hour numerals, an outer minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and steel hands. The numbered movement is equipped with a lever escapement, fine adjustment, screwed chatons, safety barrel/pinion and is marked P.S. Bartlett and Waltham Mass.
