The case is in overall very good condition, showing light surface wear and scuffing that is consistent with its age. It exhibits a warm patina throughout. The diamonds and rubies on the bezel are intact, but their quality or condition has not been tested. The case back features a blue enamel monogram ‘GL,’ with a small diamond set in the centre. There are four points for rubies, but one is missing. The cuvette shows indentations corresponding to the ruby setting on the case back. The inside of the hinged case back has some scuffing and scratches. The ruby setting pierces through the case number.

The dial is in very good overall condition. There are some inconsistencies in the outer perimeter between the 12 and 2 o’clock positions. A small chip is present on the edge of the 12 hour register at the 5 o’clock mark, and the outer edge of the 12 hour register exhibits some patina. Additionally, the hands show signs of ageing and discolouration. The minutes are repeating in phase. The split second chronograph is operational, but the hands do not reset properly and may require servicing at the purchaser’s discretion. The movement shows some light wear but is currently running.
