An elegant, unique and thin Swiss gold and enamel open faced square Art Deco keyless dress watch, circa 1927. Rhodium plated movement, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with eight adjustments, flat balance spring, index regulator. Matte silver dial with applied white gold upright cubiste Arabic numerals, outer minute track and original polished steel Breguet hands. Square case with canted corners, bezel, pendant and back enameled to imitate lapis lazuli with gold inclusions, black lacquered monogram F.L. to the back, cabochon sapphire winding crown. Movement numbered and signed Vacheron & Constantin, case numbered and punched Verger Frères. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
