An elegant, rare and thin Swiss 18 carat gold, red and black lacquer, lobed keyless lever Art Deco dress watch, circa 1927. Rhodium plated movement, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, eight adjustments, flat balance spring,index regulator. Brushed gilt dial with stylized Arabic numerals, outer dot minute divisions and original blued steel Breguet hands. Square case with lobed corners, red lacquered back with stylized flowering bough, black lacquered band and pendant with chinoiserie decoration, red lacquered bezel, pearl winding crown. Movement numbered and signed Vacheron & Constantin, case numbered and punched Verger Frères. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
