Fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold open faced quarter repeating keyless lever demi chronometre pocket watch, circa 1870. Rhodium plated movement, fausses côtes decoration, 31 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, gold wheel train, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds and original blued steel fleur-de-lys hands. Case engine turned to the back with engraved monogram AH, glazed gold rimmed cover to view the movement.   Dial, case and movement signed.
