A fine, unusual Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased double dialed keyless lever pocket watch with triple date calendar and moon phases, circa 1910. Rhodium plated movement, 17 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. White enamel dial to the front with Roman numerals, outer minute track and five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds and central moon phase aperture, original gilt Louis XV hands, hinged matte gilt and silvered calendar dial to the back, with date ring, outer revolving silvered ring for the days of the week and aperture for the months with indication of their number of days, single gilt dauphine hand. Movement engraved with a shooting star trademark. Plain case.
